It's just after 9pm and I'm ready for bed. This morning, I woke up at 5-something when I heard my neighbor revving his truck out front. All I kept thinking was love your enemies, love your enemies... I'd love to shove my fist through his teeth. I am not a morning person lol. I decided to go ahead and put something in the crockpot for dinner. I looked at what we had in the freezer and decided to concoct a soup. I used two frozen chicken breasts, 1/2 carton of chicken broth, a package of frozen spinach, a bag of frozen fiesta style vegetables, a bell pepper, a serrano pepper, and a jalepeno pepper and some seasonings and let it go all day. The house smelled so good when I got home from work! The soup tasted pretty good, too. I ended up adding rice to bulk it up a little. Overall, a great way to use leftovers and have a fat free, healthy meal!
Tomorrow is going to be such a long day at work because of inventory. All of the old people (over 60) have the day off, but I'm working at least 12 hours. Yay.
Aaron gets to go flying tomorrow morning! He's really excited about that. He hasn't been up in a Cessna in roughly 4 years. We went to the airport this evening and saw two jets and a Cessna 172 land within about 4 minutes. He was grinning from ear to ear and I'm excited for him to move along with all of the A&P plans. He's going to talk to the director of the A&P school at LU tomorrow about starting the night school program in April and hopefully he'll be able to find a job at Liberty so it will be free. Please pray for that with us. I'm really happy for him!
Well, I'm going to hit the sack. Night night world!
